One of the strange, little-understood rules of personal improvement: an inch at a time is enough. You don’t have to move all at once. You don’t ever have to make a big move at all.
You might progress so slowly it barely looks like you’re progressing at all - barely feels like you’re progressing at all. But that’s okay. It’s still enough. It might take ten years, but that’s a question of patience, not potential.
