Feeling the truth
I believe in objective truth. But I believe even more that the truth is more or less unknowable. And even more than that I believe that the truth is unfeelable.
Your feeling about the world can change very quickly. You could have a dozen different perspectives in one day. Certainly all of those different feelings can’t be true. But the feelings exist, and when you’re deep in them, they feel like all the truth you could ever need.
They say meditation can help you break this cycle altogether, and hold just one perspective forever. I’m not sure I believe it. But if it’s true, it’s amazing.
