Computers are terrible at randomness. You can program them to behave randomly, but they’re not any good at it. Most computer randomness is a simulation, a simple equation which looks random, but only if you don’t look too carefully.
Randomness may be the greatest advantage we have. Computers have to work hard to be creative, and they can’t really manage it. But it comes very naturally to human beings. The fields which rely on creative randomness are the fields which are safest from computers.
