Cause and effect
Everything that happens in the world is an effect. Something happened to cause it.
A lot of the time it was something you had control over. It’s hard to argue that you would have all the same problems you’re experiencing currently if you’d decided ten years ago to be a blimp pilot in Nicaragua. Everything in your life today is a downstream effect of some choice you made, consciously or unconsciously.
Everything that happens in the world is also a cause. Things will be different in the future because of what happens today. Even the things that seem insignificant.
How different? Different in what ways? That’s up to you. You get to choose, right now. If you want to be a blimp pilot in Nicaragua, there’s no time like the present.
