Seeking: a moment of clarity
To get to a moment of clarity, you might have to make a dramatic change.
What kind of change? It helps if it interrupts your routine. New experiences lead to new perspectives.
Make a list of things you do at least once a week, and then go down the list. What would happen if you pick the one you like the most and do it ten times more often? What would happen if you pick the one you like the least and stop doing it altogether? Is there anything on there that you can exchange for something you’ve wanted to do more of?
This can be a short-term experiement of a few weeks or even a few days. You don’t have to commit too hard. This is just a game. What’s the worst that can happen?
