Everyone feels bad about things sometimes. The question is what happens next. Are you able to direct those feelings into something constructive?
That’s how I’m thinking recently about boredom. We think of boredom as a bad thing. But if you can direct that feeling toward something you want to achieve, it becomes constructive. It’s like lifestyle judo.
In that sense, attempting to eliminate bad feelings is an actively bad idea. Life simply wouldn’t be the same without them.
