The oxygen mask
There are things you have to do to take care of yourself. To make sure that your oxygen mask is on before you help anyone else.
Are you doing them? Are you doing all of them? Are you exercising and flossing regularly? Are you eating well?
I wrote a program to remind me to make sure my oxygen mask is on first thing in the morning, before I start working. I want to know I’ve taken care of myself before I start doing other things with my day.
It’s still a struggle. Those things are unpleasant and frankly hard to do. But when I do them first, I do feel better. It helps.
